The Righteous

“The Righteous of the Shoah”, is meant to focus our attention on those who assisted in the survival of Jews during the war, as the mother with child is sheltered within the robe of the Righteous. The women, a Jew and a Christian, are spiritually joined in the guardianship of the unborn. Symbolically, each woman is providing shelter for future generations within the cloak of humanity. Commissioned by Vernon Rusheen & The Mens Group at Valley Beth Shalom.
